Elections Matter.

The 2026 midterms are more important than ever. Trump continues to set a dangerous tone for politics that exceeds the boundaries of law, constitutional authority, civil liberties, and the most basic American values. But Congress, the administration, and state electeds are complicit and, in many cases, following his lead. Nebraska has 3 House seats, 1 Senate seat, 24 state legislative seats, and key state offices up for grabs this year. We have a lot of work to do and we’re counting on you to join us.

Collectively, we can maximize impact if we use our time, resources, and momentum strategically. In partnership with local organizations and with teams of volunteers, like you, we'll be deploying Ops Teams into our communities, focusing on these four areas.

We've raised our voices. Now we need to be loud at the polls.

Our Voter Registration Ops Team will be carrying out a sustained campaign to register and educate eligible voters about election processes and voting requirements.

Informed by census and election data, we'll be targeting areas and populations that have historically low turnout and registration rates so we can devote resources where they are most needed.

• SQUADS: Volunteer teams, led by Squad Captains, will be deployed around the Omaha area to sites hosted by community partners and business, events, and other off-the-beaten path locations.

• TRAINING: Volunteers with Indivisible Nebraska will take an online or in-person training class for registering new voters, updating existing registrations, and disseminating voting information.

• REGISTRATION KITS: Squad Captains will be outfitted with Registration Kits with all the materials and equipment needed to hit the ground running.
